REM★RKS!

I'm of legal age, and you can simply call me Mario, though I'm always happy to answer to any nickname you come up with. I use he/him pronouns, but I don't mind if you use others as long as we're both comfortable. Looking forward to writing something memorable together.

Mario Arvel Morales was born to a Canadian father and a Spanish mother. His parents believed his birth would mend their failing marriage, but despite their hopes, the distance between them only grew. When Mario was one year old, his father moved with him to Bali for a fresh start. Four years later, his parents divorced, and his mother returned to Spain while Mario remained in Bali.Although raised in Bali, Mario spent every summer in Spain with his mother. Growing up between two countries never felt unusual to him. Whether it was surfing along Seminyak Beach with his father or wandering the quiet coastal streets with his childhood friend, the sea always felt like home. After graduating from high school, Mario returned to Spain for another summer, expecting nothing more than familiar faces and old memories. Instead, he found himself seeing his childhood friend in a different light. Only one years younger than him, the one he had always admired had grown into someone whose company he cherished the most. Long walks by the shore, quiet conversations, and golden evenings together slowly blurred the line between friendship and something far more complicated. His mother noticed the change before Mario ever admitted it to himself. What had once been innocent childhood admiration had quietly become love, leaving Mario to face feelings he knew could never remain as simple as they once were.
